Originally the home of the famous architect Felice Matteucci, who invented the first prototype for the modern car in his on-site laboratory, today Salviati is a charming villa for rent with seven beautiful bedrooms with private bathrooms. Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool, a superb alfresco dining area with barbecue and a romantic jasmine covered gazebo.

Salviati is a truly remarkable villa that harmoniously combines history and tradition with modern comforts. This exceptional villa can comfortably host up to 12 guests in its seven bedrooms, each of which is equipped with a private bathroom.
While Salviati maintains its original terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings, it has been thoughtfully upgraded with modern amenities including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a centralized music system, and satellite TV, ensuring a harmonious fusion of old-world elegance and modern convenience.
Ground Floor
The ground floor encompasses a spacious living room that opens onto the outdoor dining area and provides access to the park. Additionally, you'll discover a comfortable leisure room with a fireplace and sofas, a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. On this level there is also a double bedroom with an adjoining bathroom featuring a shower.
First Floor
The first floor boasts six bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, with the exception of one that can be configured with either twin beds or a queen bed.
Every bedroom is equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, a heating system, and a secure safe for your convenience. Some bedrooms overlook the pond, others the garden, swimming pool and olive groves. Each bathroom is well-appointed with a shower, and some feature a bathtub.

For availability and pricing see the calendar above. If you have any questions or would like help choosing, we visit our properties regularly and can help you choose and book the best villa for your holidays.
We can hold dates for you for 48 hours while you make sure everything lines up, then you simply pay the deposit (30% of total) to secure your booking. The balance will then be due 10 weeks before you travel. You can also add "XCover" to your booking for a full refund if you can't travel.

Worth knowing
Many local administrations now charge a “Tourist Tax” for people staying in rented accommodation and these vary from town to town. The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 3 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
