Villa Rota is set in the upper Valdarno, south of Florence and just east of Chianti, an area of hilly landscapes covered with olive groves or the dark green of Tuscany's evergreen oaks. The birthplace of many important Renaissance artists including Masaccio, this area is dotted with charming villages worth visiting.

The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 3 euro.
