Nice little touches
- This is a welcoming house and the arrival dinner is a lovely touch, prepared by chef Francesco, with Tuscan specialities, red wine and a limoncello to finish with!
Surrounded by 360 degrees of gardens, oak and olive trees, Bosco has undergone recent restoration using natural materials from the area and can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests. The villa features a fenced infinity pool, a large sandbox, a dining table under a wisteria pergola next to the kitchen, a covered gazebo with a large sofa, and a covered terrace on the first floor.
For the exclusive use of the guests and located only a short distance from the villa, there is a cottage equipped with a smart working area featuring a large smart TV screen, a table for board games, a fireplace, wine area, and wood-burning oven. This space allows for dinners and events to be organised upon request. The villa's chef, Francesco, specialises in vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menus, using locally sourced products and following genuine Tuscan recipes. Guests also have the option to book cooking lessons and pizza parties.
Accommodation
The villa is divided into five areas, including a dining room with access to the garden and the pool terrace, and a lounge room with access to the wisteria shaded pergola, perfect for enjoying an aperitif on summer afternoons. There are six bathrooms and seven bedrooms, with two of them being completely autonomous from the rest of the house. Going up to the next floor, you will find a spacious lounge room with a large fireplace to keep you warm on cooler evenings, and a beautiful covered terrace where you can savour local specialties with a glass of wine while overlooking the woods.
Ground Floor
On the ground floor you will find a kitchen with a stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, a dining room with a table for 14, a pallet fireplace, a lounge room with tv, divans and satellite tv, and a laundry room with washing machine and drier. This floor also offers one queen-size bedroom, two king-size bedrooms and one super king-size bedroom, all with ensuite bathrooms and showers, and one bedroom with single beds and a bathroom.
First Floor
The first floor has a covered terrace with a seating area, a large lounge room with a fireplace, TV, gaming console and DVD player, one super king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower, and one king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and shower.

Originally a country farm dating back to the 1700s, Bosco is conveniently located a short distance from medieval villages and the ancient thermal baths of Borgo San Casciano dei Bagni. It's also about an hour's drive from famous destinations in the Val d'Orcia such as Pienza, renowned for its pecorino cheese, and the wine towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano.
Montalcino, in particular, is known for its vast fortress, which now houses an excellent enoteca where visitors can taste the region's prestigious red wines, Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino.
For those looking to explore further afield, in a little more than an hour's drive you can discover the underground secrets of Perugia or reach the historic cities of Arezzo and Siena, as well as the renowned Chianti region.

For availability and pricing see the calendar above. If you have any questions or would like help choosing, we visit our properties regularly and can help you choose and book the best villa for your holidays.
We can hold dates for you for 48 hours while you make sure everything lines up, then you simply pay the deposit (30% of total) to secure your booking. The balance will then be due 10 weeks before you travel. You can also add "XCover" to your booking for a full refund if you can't travel.

Worth knowing
Many local administrations now charge a “Tourist Tax” for people staying in rented accommodation and these vary from town to town. The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 3 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
