- Access to the property is via an unpaved gravel road, which is in fair condition but may have some bumpy sections, and may not be suitable for low-clearance or sports cars.
Set amidst the landscapes of the verdant heart of Umbria, Silenti stands as an elegant country house enveloped by rolling hills, olive groves and cypress trees. Spanning 500 square meters of indoor living space and sprawling across two hectares of outdoor grounds, the villa comprises two adjacent stone houses. The main residence accommodates up to ten guests, while a smaller guest cottage adjacent to the main house offers lodging for four people.
Outdoor amenities include a beautifully furnished loggia providing panoramic views of the countryside, a second outdoor lounge area, and a third pergola equipped with dining space. Positioned a few steps above the main house, Silenti boasts a panoramic swimming pool, complemented by an additional furnished patio and a tennis court. The surrounding garden is adorned with vibrant roses, fragrant lavender, and an array of other blooming flowers.

Accommodation
On the ground floor, guests are greeted by an entrance leading into a first living room, adorned with a Chesterfield couch and a couple of armchairs accommodating up to seven people. Adjacent to this is another spacious living room boasting a working fireplace and ample seating for twelve individuals. This floor comprises a master bedroom with a working fireplace, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and double sink. There is also a twin or double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower, another twin or double bedroom with a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with a shower, and one twin or double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom equipped with a bathtub and handheld shower.
In the annex, there are two additional bedrooms and a spacious laundry room. One bedroom offers twin or double accommodation with an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower and double doors leading out to the garden. For availability and pricing see the calendar above. To book online click on your desired arrival date, then on the departure date. The calendar will grey out dates for stay lengths that are not accepted - most villas book Sat to Sat but many also allow shorter stays or odd dates.
If you have any questions or would like help choosing, we visit our properties regularly and can help you select the best villa for your holidays.
We can hold dates for you for 48 hours while you make sure everything lines up, then you simply pay the deposit (30% of total) to secure your booking. The balance will then be due 10 weeks before you travel.
Easy cancellation
Simply add "XCover" to your booking for a full refund if you can't travel. For more details see our Booking Conditions and XCover. You can add XCover to your booking at any time until you have paid your balance, ask your agent. If you simply need to change your dates please let us know: we can often modify your booking rather than cancelling outright.
Worth knowing
Many local administrations now charge a “Tourist Tax” for people staying in rented accommodation and these vary from town to town. The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 5 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
