As you approach the villa, a welcoming driveway, flanked by enchanting flowers and lemon trees thoughtfully placed within antique terracotta vases, adds to the enchantment of this exceptional location.
Accommodation
Lower Floor (SPA)
The lower level of the villa is dedicated to the spa facilities, comprising a Turkish bath, sauna, and jacuzzi. Access to the spa is located at the rear of the villa.
Ground Floor
The primary entrance of the villa welcomes you into a spacious and well-lit veranda featuring a fireplace, antique stone flooring, and a comfortable sofa. From the veranda, you can access a billiard room equipped with a bar, proceed to the kitchen, the primary dining room adorned with another fireplace, and a separate TV room. Throughout this floor, both the flooring and the furnishings are crafted from exquisite hardwood materials.
First Floor
Ascending to the first floor, a stone staircase guides you to an expansive living room graced by a fireplace and sofas. The ambiance is elevated by a wooden beam ceiling, combining traditional charm with contemporary amenities. This floor accommodates four bedrooms, each thoughtfully equipped with built-in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms that include both a bathtub and a shower. Among these bedrooms, three boast double beds, while one is furnished with two single beds. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer captivating vistas of the surrounding countryside. Additionally, the bathrooms are elegantly adorned with travertine marble.
Ground Floor - Dependance (Annex)
Connected to the primary villa, there is a distinct "dependance" or annex. Within this annex, you'll find two supplementary bedrooms that share a bathroom equipped with a shower. One of these annex bedrooms is furnished with a double bed, while the other provides two single beds. Furthermore, the annex boasts a well-appointed kitchen complete with a dining area.

Located in the heart of the Chianti region, Villa del Chianti is a brief five-minute drive from Tavernelle Val Di Pesa. The town derives its name, "Tabernulae," from its historical role as a resting place for travelers en route from Florence to Siena. Tavernelle Val Di Pesa is renowned for its wine production and is home to the Badia di Passignano, a centuries-old monastery dating back to the High Middle Ages. This monastery is particularly noteworthy for housing one of three Last Supper paintings by the Italian Renaissance artist Domenico Ghirlandaio.
For those interested in exploring further afield, the culturally vibrant cities of Siena and Florence are within reach. If you have any questions or would like help choosing, we visit our properties regularly and can help you select the best villa for your holidays.
We can hold dates for you for 48 hours while you make sure everything lines up, then you simply pay the deposit (30% of total) to secure your booking. The balance will then be due 10 weeks before you travel.
Easy cancellation

You can add XCover to your booking at any time until you have paid your balance, ask your agent. If you simply need to change your dates please let us know: we can often modify your booking rather than cancelling outright.
Worth knowing
Many local administrations now charge a “Tourist Tax” for people staying in rented accommodation and these vary from town to town. The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 5 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
