Podere Arbia is a luxurious and elegant house for 6, close to Siena, and perfectly positioned between the vineyards of Chianti and the rolling hills of the Crete Senesi. It is beautifully and tastefully converted apartment with large furnished terraces and a beautiful infinity pool, shared with others, perfect for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany.
Accommodation
You enter from the interior courtyard into an impressive double-height living room with a striking white spiral staircase in the corner leading to a steel and glass landing that gives access to the upstairs ensuite double bedroom.
Beyond the living room you'll find a well-equipped kitchen and two more ensuite double bedrooms, one with long-reaching views of vineyards and medieval villages. The bathroom for one of the bedrooms is up a small staircase made of corten steel.
Outside steps lead down to the infinity pool (shared) via two terraces, one of which is furnished for relaxing outdoors.

The medieval hamlet of Vitignano is a short walk from the house, and a delight to explore. A little further away, just over a mile, the village of Pianella has restaurants, shops and a bank.
The medieval city of Siena is just a short drive away, with the delights of the Duomo, the amazing Piazza del Campo and much much more. Head north and you'll be in Chianti with lots of wineries to visit and hill-towns to explore. Head south and you're in the Crete Senesi or the Val d'Orcia with even more fabulous hill-towns like Pienza, Buonconvento and Montalcino.
Whether you spend hours exploring the centre of Siena, follow the Chiantigiana out to the wine hills, or simply linger by the pool, this corner of Tuscany is guaranteed to please.

Is Podere Arbia perfect for you?
For availability and pricing see the calendar above. If you have any questions or would like help choosing, we visit our properties regularly and can help you choose and book the best villa for your holidays.
We can hold dates for you for 48 hours while you make sure everything lines up, then you simply pay the deposit (30% of total) to secure your booking. The balance will then be due 10 weeks before you travel. You can also add "XCover" to your booking for a full refund if you can't travel.

Worth knowing
Many local administrations now charge a “Tourist Tax” for people staying in rented accommodation and these vary from town to town. The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 3 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
