Villa Mina is an imposing 18th-century villa surrounded by its own grounds planted with vineyards, olive groves and woods of evergreen oaks. It has recently been restored and transformed into a comfortable villa with space for 20 guests in 10 bedrooms, or 22 if you use a sofa-bed.
The villa has a spectacular pool on a natural panoramic terrace looking out over the surrounding vineyards, as well as a smaller pool for children (6×6 and 50 cms. depth). In front of the villa a large umbrella shades a large area for alfresco outdoor dining. The interiors are spacious and decorated with old-fashioned elegance, with large old-school paintings on the walls and comfortable sofas.
Set near Palaia, the villa is just over half an hour from Pisa airport and within easy reach of Florence, Lucca, Siena and the Chianti wine region.
The villa is antique with floors in cotto and stone, beautiful vaulted ceilings, and simple details that speak to the age of the villa. The decor is elegant and makes for a luminous and comfortable ambience.
The main lounge has vaulted ceilings and a large fireplace, and, being next to the kitchen, provides space for genial cooking classes. The second lounge is more elegant and colorful, and is perfect for enjoying traditional Tuscan dishes accompanied by a good glass of wine in the company of family and friends.
The bedrooms on the first floor (the 'piano nobile') are spacious and elegant and all have ensuite bathrooms. On the second floor the bedrooms are in a more rustic style, but also all have airconditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Three cots are available on request.
The villa is situated near Palaia, an 11th-century village famous for the quality of its truffles and recognized by UNESCO. The town has a number of shops and restaurants. From the villa you will have easy access to Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Firenze, San Gimignano and Volterra, as well as the coast and the Apuane Alps.

The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 5 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
