This apartment for 5 is on a Tuscan winery just south of Florence. The original farmhouse and annexes have been converted into apartments that allow you to experience Tuscan life, surrounded by the vines that produce the estate's excellent wine.
All the apartments have been decorated with care and verve by the Laura, the matriarch of the family; Enofila is decorated with warm houes of red and orange (hence the name!). Each apartment has its own individual furnished outdoor space for rerlaxing, and there is also a communal covered area for barbecues and outdoor dining.
The nearby town is within walking distance, with a train station and restaurant 2km away, around 30min. The nearby train station makes visits into Florence easy and quick.
Located just off the main courtyard, this charming apartment is decorated with warm Tuscan hues of red and orange.
The living–dining room has an open fireplace with french doors opening to the courtyard, and a full but small kitchen in a corner. A private patio outside provides the perfect place for breakfast, dinner or supper.
The apartment has two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. A third bedroom has a small double bed (120cm) and a shower-room sized for disabled access.
Outside is a secluded patio furnished for eating al fresco, but you can also enjoy other areas in the grounds for an evening aperitivo, find shade under a tree to read, and of course enjoy the waters of the pool.
This old wine estate is on a slope above the town of Pontassieve, which can be reached via a path in about 10 minutes. From Pontassieve you can easily reach Florence by train, making a perfect spot to relax in the countryside but with easy access to the galleries, museums and restaurants of Florence.
You can also easily explore Chianti by car - or via an organized wine-tasting tour so nobody has to drive. Arezzo is not far south and can also be reached by train or car.
