Villa Selva is a beautiful traditional Tuscan stone building and it sits above the valley of the Ambra river, with views over long rows of olive groves and hazelnut trees. The lay-out of the villa complex recalls that of a small ancient village complete with panoramic views, romantically framed corners and passageways.
Around the villa is a well groomed garden of herbs and flowers, spreading towards the woods and mingling with the natural vegetation covering the landscape. The large swimming pool lets guests enjoy lovely summer days while taking in the splendid scenery. The patio, cool and ventilated, is the ideal place for enjoying a meal or simply sipping a glass of wine at sunset. The sauna, located inside the villa annex, is designed with wooden-beamed ceilings and wide windows, offering another spot for private relaxation or a romantic moment.
The furnishings give Villa Selva the character of a family home. The rooms feature antique "cotto" floors, strong beams supporting the roof, a large fireplace, antique furniture and some contemporary design pieces.
The Villa has 9 double bedrooms for a total of 18 guests-plus 2 (two of the bedrooms are triple and 7 of the remaining double beds can be converted into two singles). Each bedroom has a 22” Full HD TV and its own bathroom with shower. The house has wi-fi connection, a lounge room with fireplace , 46” Full HD TV, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.
The building has a floor cooling or heating system adjustable floor by floor. The main Villa consists of the ground floor, the mezzanine floor, and the first floor. The Villa features a wood oven, and in the annex you can find a health area with a Sauna. The garden offers a beautiful swimming pool and a gazebo with outdoor lounge, behind which there is an outdoor table with chairs covered by a sail, perfect to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner outside, with the option to use the BBQ or brick oven.
The main hall has a fire place, a central arch and beamed ceiling. There is also a dining room for 20 people and a fully equipped kitchen.
It has a laundry and 2 double bedrooms (one of which has access to the outside of the Villa) with a private bathroom with shower and Sat TV.
5 double bedrooms with bathrooms with shower and Sat TV, 2 of these are “suites” (canopy, bed with another additional bed), 2 have private access to the garden, and some of them can be transformed into bedroom with two single beds on request.
Next to the main Villa, an annex has two double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and Sat TV.
Villa Selva is a 10 minutes drive from Ambra, a village with restaurants, shops and cafes.

The charges are generally per person per night with a maximum number of nights, usually around 5 but sometimes 7, beyond which they will not charge. The charges range between 50 cents to 5 euro. Children are sometimes included, sometimes not and these charges should be collected by the property owners.
