Nestled within the protected area of the Portofino peninsula, Faro offers an exclusive retreat with a private rock swimming platform and direct access to the sea. Spread across two levels, the villa features a spacious terrace adorned with a centuries-old wisteria and a panoramic solarium.
Although just a 20-minute walk from Portofino's renowned harbour, the villa is accessible only on foot and includes multiple stairways connecting the entrance gate, house, and platform, making it unsuitable for individuals with walking difficulties.
Anyone who stays in Portofino must know how to adapt to the rhythms of a city that is entirely for pedestrians. It is best to stay here without a car and use public transportation.
The main level of the villa has a living room with sliding French windows opening onto the patio, a dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, spacious terrace, and a studio.
Also on this floor is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a bathtub. Another bathroom serves one twin/double bedroom, with a separate bathroom with a shower in the corridor. A third twin/double bedroom has a bathroom with a bathtub and shower head, also in the corridor. Upon request and at an additional cost, a single bedroom can accommodate one extra guest. One bedroom offers garden views, while the other three boast sea views.
On the lower level, guests will find two twin/double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, offering sea views.
Just a 20-minute stroll from villa Faro lies Portofino, the Italian Riviera town renowned for its picturesque harbour, colourful buildings and elegant central piazza brimming with designer boutiques and seafood eateries.
The rugged cliffs and crystal-clear sea offer excellent opportunities for hiking and water sports, while convenient transport links facilitate day trips to neighboring Riviera areas and the Cinque Terre by train or car. From Portofino, a bus connects to Santa Margherita, where a local train provides access to the Cinque Terre. For drivers, Genoa is reachable in 50 minutes, Milan in 2 hours and 45 min northbound, and Florence in 3 hours and 10 minutes southbound.
