Walking Tours

Tours can be organised for keen walkers in any of the areas around where you are staying, making the most of local points of interests, historical or otherwise or simply wonderful views.  Alternatively, we can arrange transport to further afield. Walking tours, which will take a minimum of 2 hours, can be just that or can include visits to vineyards with wine tastings along the way. We can organise walks along parts of the Via Francigena, the medieval route from Canterbury to Rome. Many of our houses are situated close to the rivers Merse and Fama; our guides can lead you along the river to secluded pools deep in the forest, across medieval bridges and on to castles and almost forgotten monasteries.
