A short way from Casole d'Elsa, in an olive grove above a steep, wooded hillside, Daniela's house is a recently built, detached cottage, with white walls and a pantiled roof. Approached along an unmade sandy track, it has pretty gardens and provides simple, comfortable accommodation for four people.
Accommodation
Entrance up a few steps to a large kitchen with washing machine. There are stairs up to a pretty attic double bedroom and shower room. A metal, spiral staircase goes down from the kitchen to a sitting room with a double sofa bed and a twin bedroom. The spiral staircase makes this property a bit dangerous for toddlers.
Around Daniela
Furnished patios surround the cottage. There are good views towards Casole d'Elsa and lovely, characteristic Tuscan countryside all around. The large, grassed garden area has a tennis net, a see-saw and slide and a swimming pool shaded by olive trees. Guests may walk almost anywhere in the surrounding land, or take advantage of trekking on horseback offered at nearby riding stables. The cottage has the double advantage of being completely on its own, but within easy distance of Casole d'Elsa. The friendly young owner, who also owns Francesco and Selci, lives in Monteguidi. She visits regularly to attend to guests and maintain the property. With Casole d'Elsa just up the lane, and famous towns within easy reach this peaceful cottage makes a lovely base for exploring Tuscany's treasures.
