The modernisation of this flat has taken away the characteristic charm of old village houses, but it is comfortable, bright and practical inside, and it is cool and quiet even in the height of summer. The owners, a charming young local couple, who also own Casa Daniela and Selci, live in the house below, and are very conscientious and thoughtful. They use the terrace for access to their own house, and rarely to sit out on one part of it. This flower-bedecked terrace, with a barbecue and sun furniture, is a delightfully private place to relax, and to toast the superb views and glorious sunsets. With a population of about 100, the unspoilt village has a convivial atmosphere and a warm welcome.
